Zarhold is a free online role-playing game where your hero's abilities are cards. Level a forever hero from 1 to 60 in a shared world, run dungeons and raids with other players, climb the arena ladder and trade on the auction house. Every fight, from a kobold in the first zone to a raid boss, is a turn-based duel of decks.

Combat: a hand of cards instead of an ability bar

• Start with 6 cards, draw one every turn (two from turn 10).
• Pay with crystals: 1 on your first turn, one more every turn, up to 10.
• Class Power once per turn plus a racial ability.
• No critical hits: every number on a card is exactly what happens, so you can plan a fight instead of hoping for luck.

What's inside

• 10 classes, 11 races in three factions — 110 combinations. Tanks, healers and damage dealers; talents from level 10, two specializations from level 20, free respec.
• 26 zones and 312 quests on the way to level 60.
• 23 dungeons for three, 6 raids and 3 world bosses for five — 166 bosses with phases and enrage timers. Heroic mode, tier sets and item level progression at 60.
• PvP: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 arena with separate ratings, a 5v5 battleground and duels.
• Economy: 12 professions, an auction house, mail and trading.
• Social: parties of up to five where everyone acts at the same time, guilds with ranks and a bank, chat and friends.
• World residents fill free slots in groups and arena queues, so the world never feels empty — but they never replace a live player.

Status

Open beta with no wipe planned, updated almost daily. The game and the website are fully available in English and Russian. Free to play.
